Get to Know Dr. Trent Miner

Dr. Miner has over a decade of experience in the dental field and a true passion for what he does each day. From building lasting relationships with his patients to helping them associate the dental office with fun, laughter, and excitement, he wants to make sure that everyone leaves with a positive experience, including parents! Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

Dr. Miner was introduced to the dental field by his wife who used to be a dental assistant. She would talk to him about her day, and he became interested in the profession! He decided to shadow multiple dentists and almost immediately learned that he was on the right track and that this would be a career he would enjoy.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

Dr. Miner attended Brigham Young University and Utah Valley University for his undergraduate education before going to the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine. After graduating dental school in 2015, he completed his specialty training at NYU Langone Hospital’s Pediatric Dental Residency program in 2020.

Dr. Miner regularly takes continuing education to stay up-to-date on procedures and technology in the dental field and is certified in laser dentistry and nitrous oxide. He also remains an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and Golden Key Honour Society.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Dr. Miner and his wife have three amazing daughters. Together, they enjoy going on family bike rides, playing board games, and playing sports. Whenever he isn’t at the office, he enjoys playing and watching sports like basketball and soccer, hiking at the National Parks in Southern Utah, and hanging out at the beach. He also enjoys woodworking and has made some furniture!
